A while back I had been researching botanical drawings for some print designs and came across the work of Amy Ross, not your traditional botanical artist by any means- but undoubtedly a favourite of mine.
Having always been inspired by science in my own design work and loving quirky twists & double entendres her works are an absolute delight to.
I love the juxtaposition of the traditional watercolour technique she uses in hand with her unexpected morphing of (I am going to say) animals (but make your own call!)
